THIS  IS  A  GOOD  LOOKING  STAG

.IT  HAS  HAD A  LOT  OF  WORK  DONE  BY  ITS  PREVIOUS  OWNER  AND  NOW  WITH US  FOR  SALE

The Triumph is fitted with a set of '70s era 14" Kent Stag wheels. These are in great condition all round having been refurbished in 2019, just a few marks noted to them but overall didn't raise any major concerns.

Equipped with a set of grippy Hankook Optima tyres to the front and rear, the tyres have a spec of 185/80 on all four corners. Front tyres are date coded at 2018 as are the rear tyres. All four tyres were replaced along when the wheels were reconditioned in January 2019. The tyres show well with no major signs of wear noted on our

The car is complete with its original engine which retains that classic Triumph 'burble' from the 3.0L V8. A great upgrade to the Stag is the reconditioned gearbox and updated clutch fitted fewer than ~1,000 miles ago.

The car has had a lot of parts renewed and restored over the previous few years which we've detailed based on the paperwork history below. A full service was carried out in September 2021 costing ~£350. The Stag has benefitted from a reconditioned gearbox and updated clutch install in August 2019 which cost over ~£450 in total. Some of the other upgrades included in 2019 cover off: a new reversing light switch; new 'Stag' badges; gear-lever overdrive switch; overdrive harness; oil pressure switch; new alternator; updated oil transfer housing; overdrive repair and a new speedometer cable.

In 2017, a new water pump was installed which, including the labour costs - over ~£680. In the same year, the carburettor was serviced and balanced, the engine was re-tuned and timing reset. Both rear brake flexible hoses were replaced and the brakes were bled, a new brake master cylinder was fitted and brake fluid was replaced with these works costing ~£920. New front seat belts were also fitted along with new window lift switches. Major works were carried out on the overdrive and gearbox in March 2017 where the unit was fully dismantled and a full recondition of the components was completed with works costing ~£1,200.

The boot carpet and boarding was renewed as well as a new cooling fan and coupling, new spark plugs, rear trim panel, sun visors, new polybushes, clutch kit, pilot bushings, wiper / wash stalk, wheel bearing kit, rear bumper and a new boot lock all were also fitted to the car in 2017.

The Stag has just had an MOT actioned, expiring next year on 27/07/2024
